Who we are

The short version
We only collect what we need to answer you, make your cake or send you the newsletter you asked for. We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or analytics that follow you around. We never sell your data.
What we collect and why

Who else sees it
Our website host (Cloudflare) processes form submissions to deliver them to us. Emails are sent through a transactional email provider and the newsletter through a mailing list provider; both will be named here once chosen. They process data only on our instructions, inside the EU or with EU-approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
Requests and messages are kept as long as needed to handle them and for our bookkeeping obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Exact retention periods will be confirmed here by Naked Cakes.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies. If you start a cake order, your draft is kept in your own browser (session storage) until you close the tab, so you don’t lose it. It never leaves your device unless you send the form. The map loads Google Maps only when you click on it; Google’s privacy policy then applies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent for the newsletter at any time. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe. Email us and we handle it within one month. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
